Shadow of Deception captivates you from the first page and never lets you go. It was definitely one of the best books I've read this year!
I read this novella after I read the Murder Conplex and now I love Meadow's character even more!

Not really what I expected. The plot twist was okay but in conclusion I hoped for a darker story. The writing, however, was beautiful.
I thought this book wasn't for me as I was reading it, but in the end I appreciated every word.
I'll be thinking about this book for a while...

I was not sure how to feel after reading this book. The first half was a bit boring, too many descriptions of things I didn't really care about, but not enough description of things I actually cared about.
I wish we had more scenes of people actually trying the coffee and finding out how it tastes, rather the writer expecting the reader to know the taste of coffee.

I remember we were given this book to read for school over Christmas vacation, but I never actually read it until now, 15 years later.
I was stupid back then... this story was great!
Very different from what I expected, but still it was interesting reading about the author's thoughts and feelings.
P.S. Found a lot of great quotes that will remember in my everyday life.
It is true that at the beginning of the book you will be very confused. It is also true that everything will make sense as you push through each chapter.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
Honestly, at first I thought this book was going to be quite dull, but in the end I enjoyed it!
First half of the book I was hooked, but the ending was so rushed and underwhelming that ruined it for me...
This book had great potential. It was a fast paced story, but because of that I feel like certain parts were not explained as much as they could have. They were certainly a few gaps here and there, but I still enjoyed the book!!

This book was excellent and I enjoyed every bit of it. It has a slow start, but once you are half way into the story you can't put it down. I cannot wait for the second book to be published!
What can I say about this book? After reading Half Bad I wasn't sure what to expect from Half Wild, but this sequel was simply amazing. That ending made me scream and that last sentence made me want more. (Them feels)

I did like this book, but I couldn't help but compare it to “All The Bright Places” by Jennifer Niven. If it wasn't for that my rating would have been higher for sure.
Brilliant book, Andy Weir is a genius!
Every single chapter keeps you on the edge of your sit and even though I couldn't understand all the chemistry throughout the book, I found it very interesting.

This was a sad yet beautiful book. I cannot find the words to express my feelings after reading it. The hole book was a total mind-fuck and really messed up!
