This is the first review I've ever written on goodreads and I decided I needed to write it because this book deserves so much more love then it gets. Elliott Shafer is one of my favorite protagonists I've ever read. He's so sweet and funny that I actually laughed out loud at points. And the character development he and his two friends go through is cathartic and genuine. It's about friendship, young love and learning to accept yourself all set in a unique and interesting world behind a stone wall.
