This was sort of like historical fiction meets Dan brown. The story centers around Sandro Botticelli's masterpiece Primavera, the hidden clues within etc. It kept me interested for the most part, but could have probably lost about 50 pages in the middle as it seemed to drag a bit. Overall a good read though.
Up until the end of part two this was a solid four star read for me, then Ryan cheats on Brandon and we skip ahead 12 years. I hate cheating HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT! There is nothing you can do to bring a H back from doing that in my eyes. Sigh, up until that point I was loving the book.
These book covers! lol
Didn't like this one. Jackson was an ass. Sinclair should have dropped him like a hot tater!! lol
After reading a good deal of this series and enjoying it for the most part, this book is a prime example of why I feel this author really needs to make these books longer. I have no idea why Chaz had a roommate, what he did for a living, you learn NOTHING about this guy AT ALL!
I wish these books were a bit longer, everything moves at such a rapid pace. I really liked this one though.
I loved the first two books in this series, but this one fell short for me. I HATE HATE HATE when an author doesn't include the info that a book ends on a cliffhanger and there will be another one. The ending of this one ruined the whole book for me. :(
This was a fun little Halloween read. It kept me guessing until the end. I've only read the first book in the krewe hunters series, but didn't feel like it mattered not knowing all the players.
I was looking forward to this one cause DADDY DOM, alas this guy wasn't all that “daddy dom” like. The story had potential (a deaf/mute) Dom, a sub who signs with ADHD/OCD. Alas, like I have said many times before these books REALLY need to be more fleshed out.
The H/h meet in the club, get along, have one date, then she gets busy at work, and he has to leave for some book business, and neither notice they haven't spoke to each other in TWO FRIGGING MONTHS!! I mean, we've already had the inner thoughts about how each other is “THE ONE” You'd think you'd notice if “THE ONE” screwed off for two months, alas no. They get back in touch, and it's all I LOVE YOUS, and rainbows out the ass...THE END...sigh.
First, that cover, it awesome..
I can't believe how good this book was! It was an atmospheric mind fuck of awesomeness, with some romance thrown in. I literally didn't stop to eat because I wanted to see where it was all leading. Wow, just really impressed with this one.
Liked this one OK. Both the H/h were a bit annoying, and of course we had the obligatory kissing OW scene. This added nothing to the story other then for me to wish the h would tell the H to take a hike, but whatevs, this seems to be the trope de jour lately!
Overall an OK read.
Ok, so I am having a problem rating this book. 90% of it was a solid 4 star read for me, but at the beginning when the h walks in on the H having sexy times with his brothers fake fiancee pretty much cast a shadow over the rest of the story! It was all I kept picturing the WHOLE DAMN BOOK.
Also, and I really, really, really hope I am wrong, but from the sounds of the last chapter I am afraid that for the next book (Luca's story) it sounds like he may be interested in the fake fiancee more then just as a rouse, and if that is the way it is going that would mean the fake fiancee will have slept with Dante, and also be in Ashlyns face. Ew, just ew!
So ya, confused on a rating party of one here!
I surprisingly liked the heck out of this book! Ok the gang bang to help the h get over her problems was a bit far fetched, but dang it was hot! I love a good menage.
Looking forward to the next one!
3.5 stars. Enjoyed this one better then the first, but not as much as the second. I felt that story could have been flushed out a bit more!
