I really want to like Lucinda Berry. I struggle with the subject matter of her books.

There were lots of twists in the book and I guessed a few of them. But the author over-explained so many things and it was super irritating.
This was just ok for me.

4.5 stars, rounded down. The twists and turns in this until the very last page.

How did this book have so many 5 star reviews? The plot was slooooow, the characters were unlikeable and I didn't even want to finish it. I was hoping for something redeeming toward the end and it never got there.

The ending was well...unbelievable.

What did I just read? Each chapter was crazier than the one before it. I couldn't stop reading.

The story line of this book was good. Although, one of the main characters was so horrific it was hard to get through.
This books should definitely come with a trigger warning.

This book was good until it wasn't. The “twist” was ridiculous and ruined the book for me.

Two stars because I liked the characters.
