Why this book?
Very unexpected favourite that tore at my heart and brought up feelings from my past and childhood. Though Rook and Sage both speak to different pars of myself, they're characters are raw and real and their issues and struggles aren't romanticized or made to be enticing, they just are.

Why this book?
One of my favourite classics <33 Burgess creates an inhuman character that I empathize with and see his inhumanness within myself. The struggle for free will and the question of whether it is earned.. Ughhh I just love this book !!
