If it had not ended with such a huge cliff hanger, I would have given it 4 stars. It was slow in the beginning but have halfway through it became really good.
This was an awful book. Her father was a womanizing jerk who treated her like dirt. She's raped at 18 and of course her creep sleazebag father doesn't believe her. Then there's the so called hero of the story who goes home with a teenage girl. I have no idea idea if they had sex or not, I stopped listening to the audio at that point. I have no idea why it's gotten such high reviews.
I really did not like this story. Obsidian is a complete and total jerk and Allison is so annoying. This is the first book in this series that I have skipped through. It's just awful.
I really wanted to like this book, the story-line is different from other dragon type books I've read. Unfortunately it just could not hold my attention. This was the first of this series I read and I have no desire to read more of them.
I found Etienne and Krysta boring, they did not have enough chemistry. I thought the other characters were more interesting.
The story was interesting, but I honestly despise novellas especially considering the ending of this one.
Because of previous books, I was convinced I would hate Dee-Ann. But the story was great and I ended up liking her character.
With out giving away the story, certain parts were just to disturbing to finish. Thankfully it was a freebie from Amazon.
It was a great book. I have not read the first one but the author covered the background from the previous book perfectly where needed. Darcy is a widow with 3 small children. Raze seems to have always been interested in her although he has been betrayed before. Darcy wants answers as to exactly how her husband died, Raze has those answers. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
The story jumped around, and the author needed someone to proof read. It was hard to read.
It was a quick read, but slightly hard to follow. The male character was named One, had to reread sentences where his name was mentioned.
The so called hero was a complete and total jerk, who easily jumped to conclusions and the heroine was to wishy washy and forgiving of his deplorable behavior. By the end I hated them both.
I really loved the first book, it was unique and different. Unfortunately I just kept loosing interest in this one.
The story was interesting but I just found the main character to be self absorbed and unlikable. There was no chemistry between her and Abram.
Sweet shifter romance
I did not read the first book, but there was enough details in the story to understand what had happened previously. It was a great read and I look forward to the next book.
I received this arc from NetGalley. The story was fun and well written. I loved the characters and how creative the author was with the anti honeymoon options for main characters. #TheAntiHoneymoon #NetGalley
It was so much better than the last few. I liked this heroine so much better than the recent ones.
I still feel the same as I did before reading this. In my opinion, Oj got away with murder. At best the prosecution and the law enforcement that was in charge were incompetent and at worst they were corrupt. A lot of people made money off of the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, and that is infuriating. I will never understand how her children “slept” through her murder. My father was a violent alcoholic and I Never slept through the fights, and I did my best to get between my parents.
