The popped up as recommended while I was browsing Libby. It sounded right in my wheel house. And maybe it could be, but it wasn't working for me at the moment. I could simply be in a early year funk, but I was annoyed by each character (except Dragon, I suppose) and decided to bail when the book was due.

Didn't finish

Whatever blurb I encountered that touted this book, I clearly misunderstood it. For what I expected and what I read where not on the same path.

I didn't enjoy reading this book at all. I found Rose to be an entirely annoying and unsympathetic character. In fact, nary a character in the book was a sympathetic case to me. At first I enjoyed the letters portion of the book, but then that petered out.
