Read this one out of nostalgia, in my teenage years I would devour Barbara Cartland, before I moved on to contemporary romance. But now being much much older, it's clear my tastes have definitely changed. The Story was cute, but I was hurrying to get through it so I could go back to my contemporary romances again.
Wow..Wow..Wow...this third installment was awesome! Pulls you in right from the start and never lets you go until you've finished it.
Couldn't keep my eyes dry near the end.
This is a book that stays with you a while after you finish it..at least I have a feeling it does with me.
Will definitely recommend this series to other people who haven't read it yet.
Took me some time to get into it. BDSM is not really my kind of thing and it was one of the reasons I was apprehensive reading this book, but wanted to see what the hype was all about. In truth the BDSM aspect in this first book is very light.
The writing is not great. Read fanfiction that had a better writing style, but still enjoyable. Will definitely read the other parts because what I'm mostly curious about is to learn more about Christian and what made him the man he is and of course to see how it will end between Ana and Christian.
The last of Virgin River..a bitter sweet goodbye. Took me a few years to finish it, but I loved every book and every character.
Listened this for #romanceopoly London Street, Read a steampunk story or Steampunk romance, not exactly my fave hence the very short story, but since I actually liked it I've decided to also listen to the next one in this series for #romanceopoly.
Listened to this one for the Summer Romance Book Bingo and for the Audible Romance Challenge both for the Inspirational category. Had the hardest time finding something that interested me enough to get through what might end up being an hours long sermon, no offense meant. But this one was short (which is why I chose it) and sweet, and yes it has some religion in it, but the story was nice enough for me not to be bothered by it. Don't know if I would ever pick up another inspirational romance, who knows as long as it's not overly religious I might be interested, have one on my wishlist that I might want to read in the future.
