They were both okay. Narration was a bit wooden and emotionless. It was more reading then voice acting

It was a nice enough story although with the language that was used, very proper English (well it sounded proper/posh) I sometimes felt like I was reading a historical romance instead of contemporary, but that might just be because I am used to read American authored Harlequins and very few British. It gave the entire book a bit of a dated, old fashioned vibe. But all in all I enjoyed it.

Listened to this for the Audible Romance Challenge, for category; Amish.

It was a really sweet story, really liked it, took 1 star off, as there where a few instances where lines were read twice, and the narrator was a bit off with his narration, sounding a bit too mechanical at times. But otherwise a really cute story.

**Audio Review ** listened to this one for the audible romance challenge. It was short and sweet, really liked this one. I liked how it didn't sugar coat anything when it came to racism or homophobia. Really loved both Jay and Simon.

Already owned this but used it for the audible romance challenge for the category romantic comedy. Loved it. It was funny and sweet and hot, loved Wyatt and Natalie's relationship as friends and as lovers. You just can't go wrong with Lauren Blakely's books. Narration by Sebastian York was awesome.

Kreeg dit boek van de auteur nadat ik vertelde dat ik eigenlijk nooit Nederlandse auteurs lees omdat ik meer van Amerikaans/engelstalige auteurs hou. Zij wilde me overtuigen om Nederlandse auteurs een kans te geven. Ik heb dit boek gelezen en het was okay, maar dat is dan ook alles, het sprak me niet genoeg aan om de rest van de serie te lezen. Ik vond de vrouwelijke hoofdpersoon heel erg irritant en niet echt likeable. De schrijfstijl lag me ook niet echt. Ik bedank de auteur hartelijk voor de gift van dit boek, maar toch hou ik het nog steeds bij mijn Amerikaans/Engelse auteurs en boeken.

Loved this book. Wanted to slap Ethan at times and even had to wipe away some tears. Great read!

Second read and loved it. Don't know what I gave it the first time but this time I am giving it a 4.5. The lead heroine was slightly annoying, but again, loved the story again, now finally going to finish the series by reading them back to back.

Lovely stories, but because they were short it was a bit too much instalove. But still enjoyable.

Doing the audible romance challenge and pickedthis book for the category 15th-16th century England. Now I am not really into historical romance, thatks why this challenge is great, it encourages you to broaden your horizon.

The story starts out a bit slow, but it drew me in from the start. Half way it really picks up and I really loved it. I will definitley pick up the other books in this series.

Second read, read the paperback this time as the audiobooks seem to have dissapeared. Decided to re-read to fresh up my memory before I read the other two books for my 2020 stacking the series challenge, as I never got to the other two books in the trilogy.

Great festive and hot stories. Loved the second one, I'll be yours for Christmas by Samantha Hunter a bit better then the 1st one.

Wow, this has been on my shelves for years as I didn't want to start reading before the series was complete, instead of reading I decided to listen and I loved it. The narration was great, and I loved both Eva and Gideon. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!

Listened to it for the 2nd time in preperation for Darker, and I really love Christian's POV so much more then Ana's. Where I struggled with the first book from Ana's POV, I could not stop listening to Christian, now onto Darker, which in the first trilogy, I loved way more then the first book, so looking forward to Christian's Darker.

Sorry but have to wonder if this was the authors first book, it read like a bad fanfiction. The characters were annoying, the wording was very stiff, it didn't flow. The characters were very one dimensional and the plot was kind of all over the place.

I would give it 10 stars if I could, holy cow, this was good! God I loved this one, and “Him”.

It was okay, the story was de decent, but what a crap ending.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I read this book for the first time, twenty plus years ago, in Dutch. Loved it so much back then that it stayed with me in my mind for a long time. I got rid of the book a long time ago due to space restrictions. But last year I found a dutch copy, just as I had owned, in a thrift store so I bought it. But didn't come around reading it again, until a few weeks ago when I decided to go look for an English copy and found this edition and I fell in love with the cover. This time I was going to read it ASAP, and here I am, giving it 5 stars, but wishing I could give it 10. This story was as good as I remembered and the last chapters had me in tears, just as they had 20+ years ago. If you like time travel romance this is one story you will have to read. Oh how I love Nicholas, he is the perfect hero. They have outlander as tv show now...has there even been done anything with this book, This would be a perfect movie.

Oh my gosh, why did I wait for years to finish this series! It was so good! Really if you love hot sexy romance with a touch of supernatural, read this series!

Think this is my most fave book of the series, Wes and Lexi are juist adorable.

Loved this book, think this one was my fave of all three books.
