Very mixed feelings about this book. I'd say my rating falls somewhere between 3-4, but I don't really have that option
This book started with such promise. Then it turned into poorly written, poorly edited highly predictable story/dialogue/description. There were parts that couldn't keep track of who was doing what, characters changed their tune and perspectives on a dime, and it just spiraled into juvenile writing. I had to force myself to finish reading it.
An uplifting book that will make you cry. Karen Kingsbury does a wonderful job of weaving a tell and illustrating that even when we walk through the shadow of death, amazing things can happen.
