Is it the most exciting book...no. However it reads at a nice pace and enjoyed the twist. I am now moving to book 2

I love royal history mostly UK but I decided to give it a go. I have read and reread the first 25 pages and still can't tell you what I read. I just found it so confusing especially the estimated time line in beginning

This book was borderline, it easily could have gone on my awful books shelf. I definitely won't read this authors book again. The writing style was like riding down a road full of pot holes so very jolty. The book didn't flow enough for that kind of a twist

I really enjoyed this book. Yes it's slow to begin with but really draws you in. I now have book 2 too rea read. Book 1 had a sad outcome for a girl who's already had he fair share of disappointment

Such a stunning book. My father is irish and the historical references were right where they should be. The words flow poetically and was like an Irish version of outlander. I loved this book so much I bought my mum a copy an sent it too Ireland for her too read. It's definitely a book I would happily reread. The ending had me a blubbering mess crying so much. Wow!!! This book was one of them books I had to finished in one day. It's been a long time since that happened. I love that the female character in this book is one with a spine and intelligence. Normally I don't read dark romamces because female characters usually are told what to do and they obey like a baby puppy blah
