I think the magic system is amazing in this whole series. I was, however, a bit perturbed that's still another book to be released. Ugh. Read the series, but maybe wait for the next book to come out first!

Ugh! I love this overall series but from about book 7 through this one the story is slow, at least till about the last 50-100 pages or so. I have it on good authority though that book 11 steps up and the story really reaches that conclusion level starting at 11-12 and moving forward to finally book 14. Otherwise, Crossroads of Twilight was just too slow and full of a crap ton of details or specifics or filler stories that have nothing to do with the main story, nothing.

I'm 30 years old at the time of this review and this book reminds me of things from my childhood. 80's movies, video games, clothing. All kinds of stuff, past that, it was a well written book I thought and it clicked with me. I suggest it to my generation of folks.

The mythology involved in this book is awesome, huge fan of that in general but the way it's portrayed here is/was quite unexpected.

I liked it. I started reading it because of the cover. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great and I laughed at some parts. Was an ok, if cliche, mystery book.
