I love Tessa Bailey's writing style, her characters and her tik tok, lol.

This book was exactly what I wanted. Read in three sitting, over a day, it was engaging, good banter, great character and the perfect balance of sweet and spice for me.

Nice paired down version of the Sutras. Explained very well and great references to day to day life. I really appreciate the journalling cues at the end of each section. Really helps put things in perspective.

A very scientific look at food and emotions. As someone that doesn't really enjoy similar books, I found this one extremely interesting.

I loved this short story!

This was so captivating and sweet and it's the love story I wanted and needed. It loved how it was written and I felt like I got a complete and wonderful story that didn't feel rushed, even though it's not a long book

3.5 rounded down.

Easy read, fun witchy element.

Characters were likeable, plot was fun.

So... Another one that isn't my typical genre, however I loved it.

I highly recommend the audiobook version. It's a full cast and it's even more vibrant than reading it.

3.75 rounded up.

This book was different than my regular reading, but the story was engaging and it was a fun read. I did feel like there were maybe a few too many strings weaving together the story, but it was written in a way that was easy to follow and enjoyable.

Nice easy beach read.

Not as good as “love and other words” but much better than “every summer after”.

Best friends, young love, second chance romance.

I found this useless filler.

I was so excited for the multiple points of view, but I just found this short book to feel so long and unnecessary.

I enjoyed this book. And although I knew where it was going, the ride to get there was entertaining.

Could it have been shorter, yes.
Was it annoying long, no.

There was decent banter. None of the characters were overly annoying. I love an enemies to lovers. It is very STEM.

I DNF'd this book.

This is a “cozy” mystery, and I wanted to love it, but I just didn't connect. I don't think it is any fault of the writer or the story, I think I'm just learning the cozy mysteries aren't really my thing.

I DNF'd this book.

I read the first three in this series, and although I didn't love them, I was able to get through them all and enjoy them. But this reimagining of Aladdin was not for me.

This was fine for me.

I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. It just... Was.

I didn't have any expectations for this book that I got on a Stuff Your Kindle day, but I enjoyed it very much.

The banter was good, the spice was great and it was fake dating done right.

I enjoyed this book. It is a 3.5, rounded down.

I had figured out a few things early, and found it a little long and ... Like certain things were drug out.

But the overall story is good, and there are twist that will surprise a lot of people I think.

I didn't enjoy this book, and I am trying to decide why.

I think it tried to do too much, making things feel rushed or unfinished, at the same time being too redundant.

There wasn't a single character that I liked, besides Layla.
