A great book, an introduction to me to the series. Luckily I didn't need to read the others to follow this one but now I want to read the rest.
The main character, Eddie Flynn is great and I loved the perspective of switching back from him to the killer who is on the jury. The author definitely made you think he was one of the jurors but he was in fact a different one, I had to stop and think for a moment and go back a bit confused. And then that final twist I never even suspected. Great book, fast paced!
Short, quick, and fun! Enjoyed their cat Belladonna and the help she provides the sisters. It was kind of easy to see where the story was headed, but still fun to get there. Definitely some twists that helped it move along where you didn't expect.
I was thinking that Mason had something to do with it and I was waiting for the twist, but it didn't come until the end and it left me gasped. Very good overall
Definitely not one I saw coming the dual timeline got me in the end, I was suspicious but nothing gave way that he talking in two different timelines. It was an entertaining suspense to listen to (did the audiobook) and really kept me on my seat and had me guessing how it would end.
I enjoyed this book, it had bits of everything I liked, some action, mystery, fantasy, and a bit of romance and a twist at the end! Now the cliffhanger was disappointing but I'm excited to read the next book now!
This was a thrilling book to read, kept me on my toes for sure. I had a weird feeling about Liz from the start, felt very forced. a bit of a cliff hanger ending but overall ties it up. Love the supernatural element that wasn't taking up the whole book, but played nicely with it.
I overall enjoyed this book, took a bit to get where it was going but it was a nice suspense and some twists you didn't see at the end.
