Main Character sucks
Somewhat of a story but it felt like the author was more concerned with the shock value than a decent story.
I'm really let down ( yet again) with this author. The premise and story had the potential to be sooooo much better. The writing is childish and in most instances, lacks emotion. This story relies heavily on emotion and it just wasn't there. Noah was presented as very one dimensional person with no character and 15 year old boys don't talk this way. Don't get me started on the mom. Again, one dimensional. The dad? The twist with the dad was so flat and uneventful it was cringeworthy. This story could have been very impactful but it just fell flat. I was generous giving 3 stars.
A modern tale, not unlike the witch burnings of yore, of sanctimonious religious zealots persecuting anyone they deem unworthy of their gods love. I wish I could give it -5 stars.
What a waste of time.
This book had such potential but it ended with a mousy whimper.
Save yourself an ending you can see coming from a mile away and doesn't even make that work.
