What Can I say, Haddish said it all.
The narration of this book is so funny, she went through a lot of stuff but her attitude towards everything is so inspiring. Even though she made some morally inadequate decisions but she owned it all.
the only complaint I have is that she introduced a lot of characters by their looks even is opposed to the idea of judging people by their looks.
The Help was in my TBR for so long and finally, I read it.
I personally love anything with a female protagonist, keeping my biased side aside there is a lot to like in this book, from characters to the storyline.
It's about the time when colored people were not slaves but still fighting for an equal place in society.
the story revolves around two colored women who were serving white families and a White girl who had a close relationship with her Maid decided to write a book about the Maids.
this starts the friendship, shows the struggles and emotions of a person who is asked to use a different toilet based their color.
This Year has been about books and humor Books!
Mostly “yes Please” is the last humor book read for me and it did not disappoint me at all.
Amy Poehler was honest, funny and inspiring throughout the book.
Overall a good read.
we all need little teen romance from time to time! other than that I have no comments on this book
Hats off to Backy for donating all the proceeding from the book.
I think liked this book more because Meryl Streep narrated it. so my suggestion would be listen to Audio book if given a chance.
This book was one hell of an Emotional journey, What I loved is the portrayal of every character, there is no bad guy. it's just their choices which are creating havoc in everyone's life.
You will not able to put this book down until you finish it, you will indulge yourself in the book, root for your favorite character till you finish it.
The possibility is, in the End, you will feel cheated. Not that I am a sucker for happy endings it's just that it feels easy writing and rushed ending.
well, even then I'll suggest everyone to read this book.
Last year went without reading any potter book, I'll say a good start of the year with my favorite book.
This is the First help book that I read not because I don't need self-improvement. I was just afraid that book might get boring.
To my surprise, Subtle art is quite engaging, Full of living examples, and made some Excellent point.
Though there were some points where I was not able to agree with the Author but I'm ready to give less F*ck with the help of the book :).
Happy living!
This would have been a really interesting book if I haven't read/ watched time travel stuff.
but still, I moderately enjoyed this book.
Every clumsy girl like me will relate to it and after every page you will be like this is so me, Which I think is so great about the book.
I get it why every other review said that this book is better that Shadow and Bones.
Six unusual people attempting an impossible heist, overcoming their own demon and being badass.
One of the best Fantasy reads of the year :)
even though you know the overall summery of this book you still want to read it till the end
The Graveyard book was one of the best reads of 2018, heart-wrenching, emotional. Nobody Owens will win your hearts with his innocent unapologetic brave behavior.
Story was touching, full of life and lifeless at the same time.
Amazing narration and amazing story!
A must read!
