This just wasn't for me. I couldn't get into the characters or story so I ditched this one about 20% into it.
Found it difficult to feel connected to or invested in a main character who doesn't really know herself or what she's doing.
I'm sure there's a big audience for this book, but I am not part of it. I prefer characters with more depth and more realistic scenarios. There's nothing real about these interactions or anything believable about how this group of people navigate these new relationships and experiences. The connections feel forced and centered on the physical. When they attempt to be real with one another it just leads to another sex fest, never actually delving into truly connecting with one another. It's so lengthy I can't imagine investing in the series to see if more depth eventually develops. If you want lots of sex and a fantasy polycule, this could be for you.
