I wanted to like this so bad! The first 2 books had me fired up!!! I read them both in lile 2 weeks. The 3rd is where I lost interest. It was so over the top and slap-dashed together. I almosted DNF'd it but forced myself to finish. I had to get the audible version to get through it and it was still a journey. It's a good series but I probably read it completely again.
Booktok had me thinking this was a great read... a fun joke read to explain to friends, but a waste of my time.
I went in completely blinde, just know it was “like twilight”. And that it is! It's an obvious twilight spin-off with actual supernatural stuff, just like divergent/ hunger games. As a teen I would have loved this though. It has a lot of pop-culture references which is a book-ick for me personally. If you're into teen paranormal romance this is the book for you. Since they're free on audible right now I'm gonna finish them anyway.
A good book. Really enjoyed the writing and story. Would make an incredible movie / show
I enjoyed the first 2 of the series. This is where it got a bit too Mary-Sue for me. It became obvious and kinda of repetitive.
Good story building. Very GoT with vampires and werewolves. I enjoyed the first 2 of the series a lot.
The spice is there and so is the character motivation, but it felt like the balance was off. Not for me.
A good turn of the century French witch story. If you like The Witches of New York by Amy McKay you'll like this.
I didn't like that it went back and forth in the timeline and was a bit slow for my taste. It's not a bad story, just not for me.
Good quick read!
A good quick spooky read for the Halloween / fall season. A bit predictable but I loved the wickerman pagan feel.
Good quick read!
Good quick spooky read! Didn't expect the ending but loved it all the same! Amazon has done a great job cultivating this collection.
Sweet and thrilling. The ending did get me, I didn't see it coming exactly, but I was close. Worth a “spooky” read if you don't mind the switching between characters or time lines.
It was good, but it felt more like a cash grab then a genuine sequel. Take it or leave it. You're not loosing anything.
