This should be mandatory reading for all Australian schoolchildren.

I found the writing style quite jarring to begin with, and wasn't sure I was going to get through it, but I'm so glad I did as it was a highly moving story that had me fighting back tears by the end. Thoroughly recommended.

I really wanted to like this, but ultimately it all just seemed a little too far fetched. It definitely has some interesting ideas, but the execution lets it down.
