Really cool concept, especially for its time. Some parts were kinda weird, but overall a solid thriller.
The writing at times comes off as amateurish, but there’s a very clear and palpable passion put into this story that translates into passages that read nothing short of stupendously beautiful. Sometimes this tale held onto me and didn’t let go.
My first exposure to the Solarpunk genre and one I shan’t forget. Reading the environment and world it portrays is a joy that leaves me hopeful for the potential future humanity might take.
It’s also a pretty cool story about robots.
Definitely recommended read.
Brilliant and confoundingly strange. To quote a post I once saw responding to how it’s read: “With a headache and joy in my heart.”
