I'm not a fan of these princess books. But ivy loves them. This one had a reasonable moral to the story, about not trying to say you're better than others when you're not, being happy for your friends when they are good at something, and not lying.
A really lovely book about understanding and dealing with worries. Age appropriate for younger readers, this helps but context to a feeling.
Again me and ivy both loved this book. She said that it helped her know what to do if she gets angry at not getting something right <3
Once you get the rhythm it's really satisfying to read. The kids both loved it, and have asked for a lot of re-reads.
Just brilliant, Greta is such an inspiration, and such a great role model. My daughter loved reading about her.
More genius from Pratchett, although I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous two, it seemed to sag in the middle, where not much happened. But I am very much looking forward to more Granny Weatherwax in the future! What a character!
Ivy chose this one. I had not heard of Wilma Rudolph before, and I'm so glad that we were able to learn about her together. What an absolutely inspirational woman.
Oh man.
I loved this. It reminded me of Farscape, and man I loved that show.
The writer did such a great job of making the races so different, but so beautifully described. I can hardly put into words why I loved it. It was so just so “full”, engrossing, exciting! I devoured it in superquick time.
October is just too long to wait for the next one.
Weeeeeirrd one. I know it's meant to be. But something about it just didn't really work for me.
More wonderful weirdness from Gaiman. This time a pleasant and light kind of weirdness, opposed to dark and unpleasant weirdness! Great illustrations, and just beautifully odd. I really enjoyed it.
A great, very short read.
Wow. I inhaled this book. It was so rich, such depth. What a journey. As I closed the cover on the last page, I just felt overwhelmed with so many emotions. It is a beautiful book. It is just so....much. So worthy of being read. So worthy of existing. I am grateful this book exists and that I have read it.

Still beautiful, still stunning. Totally worth a re-read. Still one of the most special, stunning books I own.
