It was a decent read but I definitely wasn't expecting all that happened after picking it up from the teen section in my local library
The best book I've read in a long time. This is the (not) History book that should be in classrooms, not the white-washed bullshit we have currently. Also unlike the history books in classrooms, i was engrossed and it held my attention, i didn't want to put it down. Highly recommend

I love Brene Brown so much! This book is easy to read and relatable (as long as you have emotions lol). Now with the audiobook out I'm re-reading/ listening to the book again. The audiobook (read by Brene) definitely gives it an extra something, especially if you are a fan. 6/5
