Awful development of the story.
I loved Evergreen and Cassia's beautiful writing but this one is not a good sample of her work.

My fault.
I'm still under All Your Perfects-Collen Hoover's spell. I started four or five books and put them down because none of them fill me inside as Collen's did.
This one's good, but the last part it's just what you reader expect from a romantic book

From one minute to the next the characters change their way of behaving, there are very long and redundant scenes while the really important ones for the story are dispatched in a few lines, there are cut and paste in the description of characters, and above all
The sexual encounter is “unsatisfactory” to be generous.

Sassy heroine, dark alpha and a lot of banter. A lot of fun and a truly pageturner

That's the heroine speaking...I can't waste my reading time with such a dumb character, sorry.

Love Rosa Milano's books but not this one.
There is no banter, no sassy heroine, no sense of humor, no love story. The characters are barely drawn, they lack personality. The protagonists barely interact with each other. The story lacks depth, everything happens very fast. It looks more like a draft of a novel than a finished work.
