I don't know what to think about it.
I believe the whole “conflict” part, it seems real to me, it touched me.
That's why the HEA seems forced. After 20 chapters of angst the happy ending is resolved in 10 pages.
Still Mariano's writing, her intelligence, t character development (Willow is fantastic) were worth the journey through this story.

From one minute to the next the characters change their way of behaving, there are very long and redundant scenes while the really important ones for the story are dispatched in a few lines, there are cut and paste in the description of characters, and above all
