I didn't think I would enjoy this book as I hate the podcast trope, but the way it was worked in this time was fantastic and not in your face. The twists might be predictable to seasoned thriller readers, but it was still an enjoyable time.
I didn't finish this, but I'm still giving it a 2.5 because the idea is very interesting and the execution isn't too bad. However, it started getting boring about halfway through.
THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD! I am not typically a fan of character studies, but this really hit the nail on the head. I need a map of how everybody is connected.
THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL. I am not into political commentary in most cases, but this was so over-the-top yet realistic that it hit perfectly. I loved all of the references and puns.
Another easy 5 stars for John Marrs. I have read a LOT of domestic thrillers this year, but this one was truly unique. The relationship dynamics in this book are unmatched and will keep you guessing.
The most frustrating part of this book was Owen and Roan (which rhyme exactly) being the two main male characters. I need a break from domestic “thrillers” as they all are basically the same. 2.5
