The ending has me so sad you're telling me I have to wait for a third :( I honestly didn't even notice how long it was, I appreciated the fighting between Xaden and Violet rather than acting like everything was happy all the time. I honestly expected not to like this book as I've heard so much against it but I genuinely did enjoy it a lot.

If I could do 3 and a half I would. I wanted her to fight more but I'm also picky

4.5 rounded up only because I in no way predicted the ending.

I actually didn't see this ending coming so I round my 3.5 up to 4

I may have read it in one setting but I found it fairly predictable - I just needed a different type of book after finishing Iron Flame yesterday.

This was a 4 until the very end

It started off really slow and I genuinely almost DNF, however around half way in it gets really good and I genuinely sobbed the last quarter of it. If you're wondering if you should finish the book, do it. I don't usually read this style but I'm so glad I did.

Honestly Im probably mean for giving it two stars but I just genuinely didn't really like it, The actual plot of the book was amazing I loved it. The spicy romance not so much and by not so much I mean not at all.

3.5 would be more accurate, I love the book I loved the ending however I don't like it nearly as much as the first book. This one just felt like I was waning for something to happen a good majority of the time and then everything happened and like the last 100 pages

I wanted to give it like 3 because the details that made me sad were REALLY detailed and really sad but that is the point of the book so I won't take that into account. The ending was unexpected to me which caused the good rating.

I kinda thought it would be more fantasy and less romance, I do think it started to get there at the end but not as much as I hoped. I kinda think I could read a 2 page summary and read the next book and fully understand

Lost a star because it started slow, it did pick up it just took awhile.

The epilogue verified everything I was thinking. She did a very good job at tying this into the original 3 books which cannot always be said.

I honestly wasn't a big fan, I was interested in it with the concept of him saving his daughter. In reality most of the pages were about everything but that.

It was just relatively okay until the last 70 pages. Would be 3.5

Honestly this book was what I needed, good amount of romance, lots of action, no characters who are helpless and need saving.
