I entered into a bargain—choosing my mate over my freedom.
But I underestimated the crowned prince who took me. His touch like venom. His vengeance lethal.
He craves a power I no longer hold, and he’ll sacrifice every part of me until he gets it.
But I don’t belong to him. I belong to his brother.
His brother who will come for me, consequences be damned.
My fate is entangled between two princes—one who craves my power, the other who covets me—and I have more to lose than I ever imagined.
War rages in a game between queens, and I have become their pawn. But I will fight for my life, for my mate, and he will raze kingdoms to get me back.

I absolutely loved it but feel like it's the exact same plot as ACOTAR. (First two books included in this too.)
First, she gets taken away by a man, who keeps her locked up. She falls in love with the ‘bad guy' who turns out to be her mate. The kidnapper guy comes to take her back, but she comes back again and marry. Then there is war, they win.
I still absolutely loved this series though. Every book was short enough to read in a few days, and they were very easy to follow.
This third book was slightly boring, since in more then half of the book its the same every chapter, but the last few chapters did save it for me.
~3.5⭐️
This book was super repetitive. And after 3 books there was only what felt like 1 or 2 chapters that actually solved the entore conflict. Also the spice was too much (I can't believe I'm saying that). This book did not go out with a bang.
What happened?
Where was the plot?
Where were the characters? Where did they go?
This great prophecy that never really came to pass.
There were whole chapters of repetition that were unnecessary.
There were scenes and chapters that I was just embarrassed to read.
Even the language and descriptors made it feel as though the world build (as simple as it was) wasn't there anymore.
I found it very 1 to 2 dimensional.
I wasn't expecting complex world building or multi layered plot lines but I accepted it for what it was.
However this last part wast just sad.
