It was a little slow to start for me as you can see by the length of time it took me to read it. But, once I really got in to it, it grabbed my attention. Now, that's not to say this is the best book I have ever read but I would recommend it. I don't think you would be disappointed with this one.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This was so good. It was humorous and suspenseful all in one. They were right it's like vampires meets Steele Magnolias. Read it you won't regret it.
a little slow to start. But, once I got into it I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the booked and looked forward to reading the other books in the series.
This book is dark disturbing. Twisted, can't put down. Mind blowing. WTF Did I just read. This is pretty messed up stuff. Read it.
Loved this book. Read it. Fast paced thriller about time travel. Keeps you wanting more. Didn't want it to end, yet couldn't get there fast enough.
This is the 2nd book in the series. Mike played a bigger part in this story, Deanna's hacker, I really like him. I hope he hangs around in book 3. I liked this one as much or even a little more than book one.
This book was so good. Twists and turns. Gripping holds your attention. Couldn't wait to find out what happened, but didn't want to to end.
Gripping thriller of three friends set out to investigate an urban legend. There is high school bullying, peer pressure and plenty of twists. Keeps you guessing right up to the end. I really enjoyed this and didn't see that ending coming.
Such a good book. Stranded a rest stop in Colorado. When it's discovered that there is a kidnapper among the group. The child is in a dog crate in a mini-van,but who does the van belong to? This is an action packed thriller. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Carnage
By Shantel Tessier
“A Lord takes his oath seriously. Only blood will solidify their commitment to serve those who demand their complete devotion.”
“There is no god here, sweetheart. Make no mistake, you will kneel for me, but the things I have planned for you are anything but holy”
Stars 5/5
Spice 5/5
Saint Beckham Carter is completely unhinged and I am here for it!!!! All day, every day.
Carnage was my most anticipated book of the year, and Shantel did not disappoint. Carnage has several storylines going on that keep you hooked. They intertwine masterfully and the story takes you on a journey that will leave you breathless.
Saint and Ashtyn's chemistry was off the charts.
“It would have changed nothing, sweetheart.
I loved you then, I love you now. You've always been it for me, Ashtyn”
“Ashtyn Lane Price belongs to me. She just doesn't know it yet. But she will, very soon. And once I make her mine, the world will know it too.”
This is a dark revenge romance make sure you check the trigger warnings.
Helen and Nate move to the country to build the dream home. All is not what it seems and trouble begins. Items go missing from the jobs site. The begin to wonder if the place is haunted. This book was just ok for me. It has plenty of twist to keep me interested enough to finish it, but nothing much different from other books that I have read.
Toby was always a happy go lucky kind of person. But turns out things may not be just like he remembers them.
He ends up going to stay with his ailing Uncle Hugo( I love Hugo) after several events in Toby's life. Hugo has terminal brain cancer and needs someone to look after him.
While staying with Hugo something happens that test relationships with family and will test Toby's memory all over again.
I really enjoyed this one. Tana French is great at writing mystery.
Didn't like the way the book started from the end and was told backwards. Made it hard to connect with its characters.
While I enjoyed reading this book. I found it to be somewhat predictable.
Ellie Mack typical teenage daughter has boyfriend, getting ready for exams. Struggling a little so mom brings in tutor for Ellie. Tutor was a little strange so after awhile Ellie just too mom she didn't need help anymore.
Ellie turns up missing police seem to think Ellie must have just ran away due to all the stress of being a teenager.
Then Ellie's mom, years later meets a man who has a daughter who looks just like Ellie.
Coincidence?.......
A couple and their daughter spending time in a secluded cabin. When a stranger appears and tries to befriend the daughter. Then 3 others come and speak of the apocalypse. The book is suspenseful and has good flow throughout. I did enjoy reading this book just felt it lacking at the end.
Pretty predictable. But a good summer read. Would definitely recommend you read it. Very enjoyable quick read.
I fell in love with Kya. She was abandoned age 10 and was known all over town as the “Marsh Girl”. Two local boys took interest in her. Tate, who is her first love and teacher her to read. Then there is Chase, the local high school quarterback. Kya's story of who she is able to survive alone and thrive in the marsh is heartwarming until tragedy strikes. I keep thinking about the characters in the book after I have finished it. Definitely recommend!!
Saving Rain
Kelsey Kingsley
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just finished reading Saving Rain a couple of days ago it took me that long to decide how to do this review. But, I do know that I love Soldier Mason!!
This book made me smile, made me cry, made root for the underdog.
Soldier, carried the world on his shoulders. His mother named him Soldier so he could save her. What a burden to carry.
Kelsey tells Soldier's story in such a way you are there with him. You feel everything he goes thru, and it's a lot. I couldn't wait to see how his story ended and at the same time I didn't want it to end. Then my time with Soldier would be over. Although, I haven't quit thinking about the book since I finished.
This is one twisted book. Laura works a suicide prevention call center. Ryan, who's wife called the center. This is how the paths meet and insanity begins. I did not like Laura at all, she was just unlikable all the way thru. Ryan, I liked and disliked. But, I definitely recommend the book. So good Had so many twists and turns.
