It's a friends to lovers.
Jacob was clueless when it came to Stella, she had loved him, since, well forever.
The story was well written and I really enjoyed it. This was my first time reading from this author, but won't be my last. The author does a great just with their story, gives it enough push and pull to keep you hanging on. But, not too much where you lose interest.

Ronan and Daisy, you wouldn't think they would make a great couple with a 35 year age gap, she lives in a van, he is a billionaire, but Sara writes them beautifully.
Sara writes the characters in a way that they are easy to love, and you can begin to see them together and the age gap not matter. The story flows naturally and they both grow and develop and the secrets unfold.

We first met Mac in the Love & Ruin series, she is Gemma's hyperactive best friend and college roommate. This is her story. And what a story it is. She goes on tour with Gemma and Hendrix. There she reunites with Cade, who helps her thru her nightmares. Which turns into much more. This is another must read by Owenby. She just keeps getting better. I read it in one sitting, so captivating!!
Love & Revelations
Owenby does a great job of building characters. She makes you feel like they are real people. It was great being back in their world, catching up with their lives. She packs a lot of great reading into a short novella. I don't think anyone would be disappointed. Five stars!!

Another five-star. This gripped my from page one. Pierce former bad boy turned bodyguard, is called back to his hometown for personal reasons. There he reconnects with the love.Sutton, that one that got away. She is his next client. Her sister, Claire, has been kidnapped and feared sold into human trafficking. Together they will stop at nothing to bring her back. All while dealing with past issues that once tore them apart. Owenby makes you feel what her characters are feeling, I couldn't read this fast enough. She creates characters you want to know and that you come to care about. Looking forward to what she has in store for us next.

Grabs you from the beginning into this steamy, captivating forbidden love story. Which can be read as a stand-a-lone or as part of the Love & Corruption series (highly recommend). But it works on its own.
Claire who is recovering from a crazy and traumatic last year comes to live with Sutton and her husband Pierce for added protection. While there she is told the bodyguards are off limits. Including, Vaughn, who Claire still has feelings for since they first met.
Vaughn comes to Claire's rescue and then thru unforeseen circumstances they end up spending a lot of time alone. Feeling can only be denied for so long.
This story will keep you on the edge of your seat, with the ups and downs and all the drama that unfolds. Owenby weaves a story that builds and keeps you wanting more, with twist and turns, romance and friendship.
This is definitely going on my reread pile. Five star read all the way. Ready for the next one.

Bad boys for the win!!!
This is one hot book. Takes off right from the start and doesn't let up. Jagger is such an alpha male, but loves and protects what's his. Ari (Arianna) spoiled princess? Maybe, but so much more. Owenby's book has plenty of spice, but also doesn't lack on the plot, will keep you interested right up till the end. Didn't not want to put it down.
Can't wait to read Book 2!!
Crossroads of Revenge is the first book in a great new series by Danielle M Haas. It pulls you in and keeps you guessing right from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down. This was the first book I have read of Danielle's but will definitely not be the last. She is a great storyteller. Keeps you hanging on with lots of twists and plenty of suspense. Can not wait for the second book.

WOW!! Never has a book shattered my heart and put it back together so fast!! This is an awesome conclusion to this series. There were so many twists and turns, I couldn't keep up. I was totally blown away at who was behind it all. I love the friendships that were formed in this series and the way they take care of each other. I ugly cried thru parts of this one. You will not regret reading this or anything by J A Owenby, she is a great story-teller.

Told from Holden's POV. Once the action starts it doesn't let up. You feel everything the characters do. The author does a great job of bringing you into the story.
It's powerful, gritty, heart wrenching. Really shows what family is.
Can't wait to see who this is wrapped up in book 3.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the author handled the grief of the characters really well.
Although, there is one scene that almost lost me. Where Charlotte go to see Tate, as a patient, and has an orgasm during her exam. (he is a ob/gyn) I mean, Does that happen, I have never had that happen, he was obviously doing a very thorough exam then....lol.
But all in all, I don't think you will regret this one.
