What a clever story! This is one of the best series I've ever read. I can totally see this series as movies or a show - interesting location, great characters and unique plots with twists that are unexpected.
I've read all in this series and I believe this is the best one yet! Complex plot, moves quickly with tons of twists, and of course all the lovable characters!
Loved every part of this book - unusual and compelling plot, characters, location, darling black cat named Rodney - it's so charming! You feel like you've stepped into each scene it's such full writing. Cannot wait to read more from this series.
Every book in this series is exceptional - I love them all. But this one is a special story and the best, I think, so far in this series. As always great characters - really liked that Melba was in this book more than others. The plot of Alex was exactly what my family went thru with my daughter and her husband after the birth of their first baby - really a social commentary about this issue. Just superb writing.
Best book yet in this series! Such a full plot and mystery with all the familiar characters. I pretty much read only cozy mysteries, and this entire series is the cream of the crop. Can't wait until book 12!
Love this series! The ending is so very rushed on this particular book, however I'm still looking forward to the next. Great characters with snappy writing.
Love this series! Love everything written by Vicki Delaney. This is the best in the series so far - quick paced and full of adventure.
