⚠️TRIGGER WARNING for those who have suffered from pregnancy loss. The author is very insensitive about it.
1.5 stars maybe 2 because I sort of didn't hate the ending
Still not the best written but better than original, Hades perspective was a lot more enjoyable.
She has become one of my favorite authors and this book has been my favorite by her so far. I could not put it down. My heart broke over and over again. So beautiful
I have no idea what the this book was about, so much was happening and I was constantly left confused. But it kept being entertained enough to finish
I felt like the plot was kind of all over the place. Seemed like the author was trying to incorporate too many things in too short of time.
It took me FIVE months to finish this book! I don't even know what it's about. I was so excited for a new Cassandra Clare book but felt disappointed the whole time reading it. Thankfully the last 100 pages had content and is the only reason it received 3 stars. Hoping future books in the series will make more sense and have a real story.
5 stars literally for the last 10%. I loved the entire book but the ending left me speechless
The book was simply written and pretty cheesy (mostly the names) But still enjoyable.
Lily Blossom Bloom- loves to garden and opens a flower shop
Ryle-because he is always riled up
Atlas- because he has always struggled
This book was absolutely amazing. I felt all the feelings. Despair, grief, anger, love, disgust and more. Now I have to wait until 2025 for book 5
“The Pumpkin Spice Cafe” serves up small-town charm with a side of pumpkin-spiced chaos. Our leading lady (who's as lively as a stale baguette) takes over her aunt's cafe and promptly gets haunted by cats, ghosts, and possibly an annoyed barista. Enter the “grumpy” farmer, who's really just a soft-hearted soul with enough abandonment issues to fill his pumpkin patch. He also has animals named after pop stars to keep him company. With 25 mentions of “flannel,” this book delivers on Hallmark vibes but is very close to a parody.
The cat was cute tho
One of the only times the show was better than the book. I loved the characters from the show much more than the book, the show also had a lot more content. Book was a quick entertaining read.
