I enjoyed this book, the characters and the overall story line. And I loved Ripper lol. I'm actually eager to read more of Jack Frost.
I so enjoyed this story that I was disappointed when it ended. To me, the characters seem real and I love how much detail and world creation the author has put into it. I look forward to reading the next book.
Lisa Kessler has done it again! What can I say that others haven't? I love this book. To me, the characters seemed real, I loved them. If you get emotional while reading then make sure you have tissues with you. Yet another reason why Lisa is one of my favourite authors.
Love this! I have read all in the series before this book and have loved them all. This one is no different. I enjoy Lisa's writing style and how she weaves these stories to seem so real. The characters are sufficiently different from each other and appear to be believable. Thank you Lisa, for sharing your stories <3
Different but no less enjoyable than the author's other books. A good quick read despite the few errors.
Part 1: Ah the joys of sending an email to the wrong address and where it leads. While bdsm isn't my thing, I am liking the story. It reminds me of a more erotic version of You've Got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Well, on to part 2.
Part 2: I'm not really going to say much about the story yet but I am enjoying it. I'm also liking this author's writing style. Part 3 tomorrow my time -smile-
Part 3: And so the story continues and the relationship between the two main characters grow. As it does, obstacles appear. Am still enjoying the story. I've just got to find out what happens. On to part 4.
Part 4: A few more twist and turns to keep the reader wondering as to the outcome. Despite the odd bit or two that didn't appeal to me (due to my own preferences), I so enjoyed this story. Yes there was the odd mistake or two but so few compared to the whole story that it didn't really impact on my enjoyment.
This part of the review is for ‘Seeking Paradise' only. I'll review the bonus after I've read ‘Swinging in Paradise'.
Even though this is a prequel that was written after Swinging in Paradise, I chose to read this before reading it. This is a back filler of the characters telling about themselves while heading towards the events of Swinging in Paradise. While it was interesting, I think - in hindsight - I would have read it after SiP instead of before. I might have enjoyed it more if I had. Regardless, I'm looking forward to reading SiP next.
2015.08.13: Ah the bonus ending to Swingers in Paradise... Just as much a cliff hanger as SiP is lol. Still, interesting snippets of insight.
A super quick short sexy read. I had the pleasure of reading part of this during an online live writing session with this author. I had read it before I had any of his books. I don't know if author signing events are like that for anyone but it does make for a fun read despite the errors. I look forward to this author's next book release.
I enjoyed this. No particular reason why other than liking the characters, the story line and the author's writing style. I'm glad the ending wasn't rushed or added just to fill a questioning gap as others have done. Despite the odd error or two (quite minor compared to some I've read), I recommend this.
A great easy sexy read. An erotic adventure-mystery. I'm enjoying this author's writing style, I don't want to put his books down. There were some errors and I'm not a fan of the ‘c' word. But other than that, I look forward to reading more from this author.
Well, I've enjoyed this three part series of novels despite the errors in it. I love the main characters and the ups and downs of their relationship. The secondary characters were fleshed out sufficiently for their roles and how they fit in the story. The ending with the antagonist was bittersweet for me. I'm glad there was a final scene instead of just an afterword about them but felt there could have been more to it. I did like its twist though.
I am rewriting my review. After the author wonderfully gave me a new copy of this book due to my original copy being full of errors, I thought it was only fair that I amend my rating and review.
Sucked me in...
I enjoyed this story. I... =sighs=. I always have trouble writing most reviews because, most of the time, I can't say exactly why I enjoyed a story. I just do and this is one of those stories. I got lost in it and cried during the emotional parts, and I was disappointed when it ended. I'll definitely be reading the next book.
I will say that I prefer the original cover with the woman and her long braided hair. Publicists have got to stop being cliched. Thank goodness the story intrigues me or I wouldn't have bothered buying the next book if I based it on the cover alone.
Cowboy stories have never really been on my radar to read but I got to read this one and I loved it. While there were a couple of errors, they were minor to my enjoyment of this story. I love Kate and Jakob and how they interact with each other. I also love this author's writing style. I look forward to reading Bounty.
Sweet short Christmas read that requires tissues if you're that way inclined lol. It lost a star due to incorrect and missing words. If you can ignore that, then definitely read it.
Apart from a few errors (the reason for 4stars and not 5), this was an enjoyable read. Tyler wasn't what I was expecting. I look forward to the next in the series.
Part 2 to Mia and Evan's story. While I find it difficult to explain why, I love this. I love the characters and I love the way the author's writing weaves... sucks... me in.
What prevents me from giving this 5 stars is spelling mistakes (as in the wrong word used; eg: women instead of woman), missing punctuation and poor layout.
As much as those annoyed me, it didn't stop me from enjoying the story. All this book needs is a good editor/proof reader and it would be perfect. For me at least.
My recommendation: if you can overlook the errors then read this after having read Dark Kiss, Mia and Evan's story part 1.
I enjoyed this. Yes, there was the odd slow spot or two but other than that, the pace was good and fairly typical for this type of adventure story. It was interesting to see the changes in the main character's drive and what influenced those changes. The only issue I had, being an Australian, was making it sound like it was cold, winter like when it's actually our summer. Other than that, good all round.
Cowboy stories have never really been on my radar to read.
Big Game: I loved it. While there were a couple of errors, they were minor to my enjoyment of this story. I love Kate and Jakob and how they interact with each other. I also love this author's writing style. I look forward to reading Bounty.
Bounty: I'm not a Harley or the like fan andI can't explain why I enjoyed this story but I did. I'm guessing I'm just enjoying the author's writing style. Now on to Captured.
Captured: I enjoyed this. No particular reason why other than liking the characters, the story line and the author's writing style. I'm glad the ending wasn't rushed or added just to fill a questioning gap as others have done. Despite the odd error or two (quite minor compared to some I've read), I recommend this series.
I was enjoying this until the ‘c' word was used; hence the loss of stars. I grew up with the excessive use of this word, I don't want to read it in novels. If that word doesn't bother you then read it as the story is rather reasonable.
Enjoyable short read that is too short to form more than a like or dislike opinion since I have never read anything else by this author before.

I enjoyed this but then I enjoy the books from this author. He is an amazing story teller, I love his writing style and will always jump at the chance to add his works to my collection.
