Scalzi does dialogue excellently! I'm not sure I'll grab the next, this one was good but I didn't finish it super in love with any of the characters, so we'll see.

If you love hard to pronounce names and the word, ‘fuck', you'll love this book.

I grew up on Terry Brooks. This last series has not really wowed me. It's not bad per se, but in the past, he could tell a story in a single book, at most a trilogy. Now entire books are dedicated to plodding along. That's how this book felt. By the end, I didn't feel anything had really happened. It's actually left me wondering if I care enough to finish reading the series.

Yet another great addition to this saga.

An enjoyable read, but suffers the same thing every prequel does. Lack of stakes. The story wasn't aided by Ripley, I would have preferred leaving her out so that I didn't know how it ended.

Story wise, great. kept me interested the entire time.

A great introduction to what promises to be a very fun and interesting world. Can't wait to read more about the adventures of Saphire and Timothy Binks.

Another awesome entry in one of my favorite series ever!

The love story (If you could call it that) was not the greatest. It added nothing and could have been cut and had no impact on the story. Otherwise, a super enjoyable read, with some neat twists and turns.

If you're a creator, read this. While it's obviously about film making, anyone in a creative endeavor, especially if you're choosing to not wait for the gatekeepers of your industry, will love the story. I LOL'ed more a few times, and found myself nodding at some of his observations.

Fun space romp with a crew I definitely fell in love with. Looking forward to more adventures.

I wasn't sure what to expect since it's a big departure from Omega Force which is how I discovered Joshua, but it was a good read. I enjoyed the story and the characters. None of the characters felt under-developed which was nice. Great departure from his usual stuff.

Another great entry in this amazing saga. It was a little off putting at the beginning the whole 30 year jump, but I got used to it.

I really enjoyed this story. Some of the world building kinda drug on, but overall a great story that kept moving forward. I'd definitely be keen to see what happens next in this universe.

Some very cool ideas explored in this. I enjoyed it a lot. The characters were pretty well fleshed out and none felt overly cardboard-y which is always nice.

I felt like this book was less edited than the previous. If you're one of those folks who can't get passed a missed word or a typo, you might want to wait and see if there's a new release. It's not over the top, the errors, but I know some folks just can't handle a single mistake (Their loss).

That said, a great third entry in this neat series re-telling the tale of Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys.

Can't wait for the next.
