Great read! Don’t bother with the next 3 though. They’re horrible. Should have been a one book only. Very disappointed.
A beautiful read. 3 different women all related in different time periods come together and weave a magical story about what they are and what they are truly capable of. There is some magic I involved and a woman finds the power she needs to overcome a nightmare.
A really good read. A woman is running from her past and herself. Until she stumbles upon a mountain town and witnesses a horrible crime. Or did she? A love interest ensues as does someone who wants her dead.
Suzanne Collins does not let you down with this prequel to The Hunger Games. I enjoyed getting to learn about Snow’s upbringing and background. I’m anxious for the 2nd one to come out in March - Sunrise on the Reaping - ai already preordered it!
Another great vampire series I just stumbled upon. I wish the author had written more about vampires. This is the first in a trilogy called The Eden Series. Great original story of a girl trying to survive in a world taken over by vampires, only to become one herself. Instead of turning against humanity, she fights to overcome the fate of becoming a monster and helping mankind find a cure to rabidism. I cannot recommend enough!

One of the best vampire books I’ve read in a long time. I love the storyline. Dawn Montgomery is a complex character as a 17 year old who just lost both her parents in this post apocalyptic world of vampires winning the war. She starts out with Michael, her friend and boyfriend since they were children. Until she meets Victor who turns out to be a vampire, but not just any vampire. He’s the son of the ruler of Denver and of an old family of vampires, one of the original 14 families. I’m currently reading book 2 because it was so good!
