I did enjoy the book HOWEVER it is not as good as the first book! The POV shift was good but also kind of similar to the first book and kind of drags on at some points. I wish they continued directly after the first book instead of having a big time jump. Overall a good read that I enjoyed and is easy to read.

Very well written BUT very sloww to build up. Kinda gives American Horror Story with the atmosphere. Culture is a big part of the story which I enjoyed and appreciated. Overall decent book

Super easy and quick to read! Definitely did not guess the right person or the twists in this book. The ending through me for a loop and literally could not trust any of the characters in this book.

Very thrilling book. Reads just like a movie. There are some gory sceens. I however did not enjoy it being told in the 3nd person point of view, that took me a long time to get use to and get over. I do like that the whole book was based on events that happen in 1 night. However it does drag on sometimes, I feel like the book could have been shorter and I didn't really get some of the humor in the book to lighten the mood. Overall good read.

Thrilling book that reads like a movie. You can definitely picture some scenes in your head. Slow in some parts but also evokes anxiety and gets your heart pumping in other chapters. Overall a decent book.

This book has a dual perspective which I enjoyed and an unexpected third party. Definitely alot of WTF moments in this book with all the unexpected twists. Every chapter has a small twist that makes you want to continue reading to find out more. It could have done without the epilogue because it didn't really add much. Overall a good winter read ❄️ although I do still have some unanswered questions throughout the book 🤔

This book through me for a loop! It does a great job of character building and evokes emotions out of you while you read. I did NOT expect any of the twists this book had especially the sudden point of view switch 😵‍💫 I can see why this is one of Frieda's top books! I flew through this book! The only thing I wish the ending went in a different direction but nonetheless a great recommendation!

This book was a wild ride full of twists and turns at every corner, especially towards the end. The ending answers all questions and doesn't leave anything unanswered which is nice. The ending had my mouth wide open! Totally recommend!

Great plot line but didn't hit the way it should have. The book had 3-4 timelines and is pretty confusing and hard to keep everything in order. The narrator is unreliable which we know from the beginning but she is almost too unreliable in which you really don't know whats going on as you read. This book had multiple WTF moments but could have also done without 1 character in particular and 1 scene that involved rape that didn't add to the story at all. The ending was also confusing and didn't really wrap up the book in a nice way. Overall an ok read, wouldn't pick it up again.

A VERY SLOW BURN book. Almost DNF'd the book but I really wanted to know the ending so I chucked along. The legal system in this book was very childish 😒 the only good part was I never would have guessed the ending. The twist/big reveal at the end was the only good part.

Best book I've read so far!! I partially predicted 1 aspect of the ending but WOW the way the ending unfolded was great! This book has multiple twists that are explained thoughroughly. The drawings add a nice/creepy touch. Great spooky read 🎃

A little out of the blue ending but hooks you right in and keeps your heart pumping until the very end! Definitely have to keep in mind it is a thriller but has paranormal elements to it that caught me off gaurd. The last few chapters read like a scary movie in your head with you hoping for the main character to make it!

Some of the chapters are a little drawn out and would lose my interest. The ending is shocking that I couldn't predict who the killer actually was! But the way it ends didn't leave me satisfied.

The first half of the book was so interesting and captivating, leaving me wanting to find answers to know the truth, but as the book goes on it kind of lost my interest and confused me at times. Mid through the book is so drawn out that by the time the big twist and reveal happens I'm more confused than ever and had to re-read some parts. Definitely an unreliable narrator book which was a twist I didn't see coming. The ending didn't leave me satisfied at all, just annoyed because it could have been done so much better. Overall an ok book.

As a new reader this was very easy to read and kept me engaged. Short chapters that had me wanting to keep going. The main character makes really stupid decisions at times but overall did not see the ending coming. Had multiple twists that I did not predict. The epilogue 🤯
