I started at 8 pm and it is 10:15 pm now. I cannot explain my love for Daniel and Phil. It's just that they mean so much to me and I'm so happy that I got to read this book. They make me happy.
ahhh, I really enjoyed this! It was so much better than I anticipated at first and then ... boom I was sucked in the story and I fell in love.
Reread July 2021:
Lowered my rating by one star (thus to a 3 star rating).
I love, love, love the anxiety representation in this book. It is well executed.
I kinda like Cath and Levi. They are adorable, okay. And sometimes I like cute, fluffy stories.
I like Levi as a character even though he has major flaws (smoking when other people smoke -,-).
What bothered me this time around was the joking atmosphere around mental illnesses. It was hard for me to read. What also bothered me was the joking about gay stuff, that's not something to joke about, tbh.
And the weird comment about eating ... That definitely could be a trigger for people suffering from an eating disorder.
I liked the story bits of Carry on! :)
Overall, I still liked the story, I just liked it less than five years ago when I first read it.
This was a pleasant surprise! I seriously didn't expect to like this book this much!
I felt connected to the main character: Stevie. I think she's great.
I liked the story in general, I was really immersed in the story. I didn't want to stop reading, because when I thought I wanted to take a break, something happened and it made me want to continue reading xD!
It was a solid read. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. Hope it's good.
leuk kort boek
leest lekker snel weg en is grappig en herkenbaar wanneer je zelf een kat hebt
AAAAAAAH. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
This is how I felt while reading the last part of the book:')
This book hurt me ;-;
I love it.
I didn't expect I would love ‘Warcross' as much as I do right now. It was great tbh. It had its flaws, but I loved the characters ;-;
REREAD 2020: updated review soooon!
“4.5 stars!”
aaaah, i need Scarlet now!!! This was such a lovely book!
I liked it so much and i really want to know how it continues.
Cinder is just a really lovely retelling of Cinderella. The basic storyline was there but it was twisted into something modern and really interesting.
I thought the beginning was pretty slow. But the ending... Wow! It ended so strong and i really really want to read Scarlet immediately!
So I actually really liked this book. It was fluffy and cute.
I do however have a problem with LJ calling her father “daddy” 😅
“We're all weird and damaged in our own way”.
That quote is the one i'll remember from this book.
I loved All The Bright Places by Jennifer but i didn't like Holding Up The Universe as much as i wanted to like it.
I couldn't connect with the characters at all...
it was an enjoyable read but not the best i've read so far.
Loved the first half. Hated the r-pe scene so much (especially since Daphne doesn't think it was bad).

I love Disney's Beauty and the Beast and I really liked the twist, but I disliked the writing style. I found it lacking.
3.5 stars.
So ... I did have some issues with this book. It took SO long before I got into this book.
I dislike most of the characters, sorry not sorry. I just never liked Celaena/Aelin, Never. I kinda like Rowan. I like Dorian. He is adorable. I love love love Manon. She is the best character in this book. She has grown so much. Love it.
I loved reading the scenes with Manon and I would rather see a book where Manon is the main character than Aelin, oops.
Overall. I did kinda enjoy this book.
