I don't know. I feel kinda conflicted about this book.
I liked it, but I also was dissappointed by it? (doesn't really make sense lol)
Whilst reading the book I kept getting distracted by everything happening around me, which only happens when I am not that invested in the book. When I started reading I felt confused, since my reading experience was screaming I was reading the second installment (which was false of course). This book had a lot of flashbacks without really going in the depth of it.
But ... I did give it three stars and it definitely deserves that! After almost 200 pages the story started to get strong! I really liked how it all went from there. Except for the ending, that felt rushed.
Overall, it's a decent book. :)
Fantastic. Review coming soon! (Still updating all my read books from this year. I couldn't access my GR-account).
I expected more ... Some characters are way too flat, no depth to them whatsoever.
I feel bad that I did not love it as much as everyone else did, but yeah... Maybe I'll love it more when I reread it one day.
an okay read. The plottwist was really obvious and therefore pretty annoying to me 😅
but yea. i liked Nate and Addy!
This book was beautiful, heart-warming and heart wrenching. The book definitely made me cry even though I could tell from page one what would happen in the story, I mean, life isn't infinite, neither is the life of a cat.
The book was written in the past tense, aka the first hint it was written after the death of this beloved cat.
It was well written and just beautiful to see how much of an impact an animal can leave behind in someone's life ♥️
The beginning was boring, the middle was ok and the ending dragged. It's a little step to book two, I'm curious to see if I'll like that one more than this one.
It's an easy read though. Finished it within three hours.
EDIT SUMMER 2019:
Read this book for the Reading Rush challenge: read a book in the same spot the entire time: check!

This book was amazing
I loved every page and I reacted like ‘awhhhhh' and ‘ohhhhh' too many times
I would highly recommend this one!
It's perfect and makes you think about friends <3
I never liked Aspen and I never will like that childish dude. Yuck.
Least favourite installment in the original trilogy.
As per usual I am rereading instead of reading books on my tbr :'). (I love the reread though, perfect for this time of year).
This book was so hard to read. How can anyone that hasn't been in a concentration camp fathom what the people had to endure. We can read about it and try to understand, but we will never fully understand what they've been through. The extreme terror they must've felt, the pain, the neverending hunger, the Germans screaming and beating them up, being a NUMBER instead of an actual person with a NAME.
This book is so important and if you only read one book about World War II, read this one. It's raw, it's heartbreaking, it's suffocating.
I just really hated it. Sorry not sorry.
So. This book lacks plot. The characters felt flat and ugh i just have irritations about it xd
This book does have:
- Feyre darling
- gentlemales
Edited my star rating after seeing it pop-up again on my feed. It's too overhyped for my likings :')
Dit boek is alle sterren van het universum waard..
Damn wat een goed boek, zeker een aanrader!!!
I read this book in an hour and a half whilst travelling home from Amsterdam. Because of the shorter chapters I flew through the book, I mean, most of these chapters/stories had around 15 pages.
The writing style was great, the stories were great. Overall, a great read :)
Finally, I finished it! I tried it three times before and I just couldn't get into the story.
Overall I think the book was okay. I loved the modernised idea of Cinderella at a con and I absolutely adored the friendship between Elle and Sage. On the other side, this book dragged. I felt like they reused dialogues and just scenes in general.
Still a three star read though. I'm here for the friendship, the quotes and the con!
-Veel postmoderne elementen in dit boek, wat een verrassing! :')-
