First book of the year. Good way to start the year with a book that is ultimately about identity and doing what is right rather than what is expected of us. I love that Rincewind is good with kids and that we get to see more of the Librarian. Something I really love about Pratchett is that I have to concentrate on every word. If I loose track and just let my eyes wander the pages then I have to go back and start again. Nothing is superfluous. Only 36 more to go!
I really really loved the gale twist at the end. I saw something bad coming but not that. Wow. Not that.
An absolute delight to read! Great character development. Especially of Mal. Loved it. Some interesting settings. I want to go back and re-read the original trilogy now. Can't wait for the next instalment.
The best Pratchett I've read! I could not stop laughing. If you've ever loved Shakespeare you need to read this story.
A really fun read. I wanted something light to read and this is what I chose. Lots of silly laugh out loud moments. Looking forward to the others.
Doing a reread of the series. I often have the audiobook playing in the background when I'm doing a dull task but I don't really listen to it. I just
find the voices of Fry and Dale to be relaxing. This is probably the first time I've properly revisited the books in 10 years. There are so many little details that I had forgotten, it was a joy to discover them again.
