This book was so moving and sad. And also beautiful with some truly fascinating turns of phrase.

I'm not sure about this one...partly it was interesting, partly it was too melodramatic, maybe, for me. It ended on kind of a cliffhanger, though, so I may try the next one before I make up my mind about the series.

All in all a good collection. Some stories were fantastic, while others I didn't like at all.

I loved The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, so of course I had to read this. I liked it a lot, it was sweet, and there was enough new details and thoughts from Lizzie, that it wasn't just the same again.

This was really good, in fact so good that I bought more books by Sarah Waters before this one was finished. You need to keep on your toes, as the perspective changes rather rapidly at times. But, I don't mind having to use my brain :)

Short stories. Some fot hem were really good.

I've loved the movie since the first time I saw it, when I was to young to appreciate the scene by the Sacred Lake. This is the first time I've read the novel, and I really liked it! Now I want to see the movie again, haven't seen it in years. I really like how they used the chapter titles in it.

I did an audiobook reread. Still great fun.

Not as good as the Mistborn novels, I thought, but an exciting and interesting book. I liked it a lot.

Fun detective story. I really like Phryne and Dot. I've seen the first season of the TV-show, which is also great.

I think I liked this one a bit more than the first. I'll continue the series some day, it's very interesting.

It's been a few years since I read this. I remember being very enthusiastic when I picked it up - the idea really excited me. In the end it wasn't what I expected and I was a little bit disappointed. The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't as great as I hoped.

Very pretty art. I'm not completely sold on the story.

I liked some of the ideas, and characters, but I didn't love this one.

I had fun reading this.

This book is so beautiful. Both the story and the illustrations.

I overdosed on Sanderson a few years ago and have had difficulty finding my way into his books since then. So, this audiobook was started in June and finished today.

I did like it in the end, though.

I'm reading all the fluff right now, I guess.

I mostly read this for work. We're hoping to buy it so a whole class can read it together. It's an important story, and a strong one.

Fun! I may continue reading this one.

After reading this book sometime in the 90's I never read another book by Anne Rice. I really didn't like it. At all.

View

Quite funny in the end after a shaky start.

I love this story! I often read it with my students, and they think it's really confusing, but then we have some really good discussions.

I can't quite recall if I've read this whole book. I think so, but it MAY be that I've read only part of it while at university.
