See allReal life was not a joy to read but had me captivated from the start. Dark and lonely, I’ve never read anything that captured the feelings of loneliness and the feeling that your life isn’t quite right. Left me tender hearted especially after the ending.
This book felt like it was a white woman writing about race. Some parts were well written, a lot made me shake my head with the descriptions.
Felt like I read this in the right time in my life, loved the themes of feminism, growth, anarchy, indecision etc. Really well done and had me hooked from the beginning.

Really enjoyed this one, especially first half. However, the one pivotal moment really upset me and left me reeling for days and definitely brought it down from a five star read for me and made it harder to finish.
