I've found lots about this series annoying like the lack of knowledge of basic physics & tech but stuck with it to see the outcome... really wish I'd just given up one book in. Like a lot of this series, this ending was disappointing and boring...
WOW! Another AMAZING book! I think think this was the best of all the Expeditionary Force books so far... which is obviously high prase!
Couldn't finish the book. I got 70% though but I found my self feeling depressed at the thought of picking it up. I don't care about any of the characters as they are all stupid or abusive. Only caring about themselves and totally in-lovable. The story is boring and so far predictable but in no way inspiring.
Started to get far to religious! 😔 Liked the first few books in this series but getting sick of all the crap about how A.I. Isn't life and souls being the most important thing... 😒
Amazing series!
Really enjoyed the well thought out scifi aspects that had a base in reality and only making assumptions about tech and physics we don't yet understand.
I also loved the character and at no point was I annoyed by any of them (that you clearly weren't meant to hate!)
The story is brilliant! No one min of this I didn't love!
I enjoy the story but have found the new ones are basically the same story again and again. I also find that it's a often a very inocent story teller. For example if someone is shown a better way they almost ALWAYS accept that as fact and change their own world view and become a better person. I try to let these instances slip by to enjoy the rest of the story but it does make my eyes twitch sometimes!
