Having a somewhat innate fear of death, (as I assume a lot of people do) I started this tentatively… unsure how I would feel reading about it in such depth from a forensic anthropologist. What a brilliant memoir, though. Sue Black has lived through some harrowing yet deeply interesting experiences in her career and I’m all the better for reading about it.
