I felt like this story kinda seemed rushed. There wasn't much character development, and some of the characters were nothing more than a name.
I really liked the way this book used cats to help explain symptoms of the autism spectrum. Honestly I should probably be concerned about how much I related to this book.
I really enjoyed this book. The main bad guy was dark and twisted, but he was still human. The heroes were still teenagers as well. They striggled with finding their place and their identity which made the book that much more relatable.
Amazing book. I loved the end. The part where their minds joined together was amazing and i can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.
This series was amazing. Through a combination of flash backs and current events they tell the origin of the Black Widow.
I read this book for school. I personally didn't like it, but at the same time it is not a book I would willingly choose to read on my own.
I never thought I would be reading a book that could be considered a hockey romance however this book was absolutely adorable. I kept having to take breaks from reading because I would be grinning at the book and it was too cute. I loved the interactions between the players and Eli. I'm already reading the second one.
I really liked the relationship between the main character and the love interest. I'm also always happy to find books with nonbinary characters
This book was really relatable. I realized that I was bi three years ago, and I have really struggled with accepting the fact that I am bi while still being a Christian. I've been able to get over the internalized homophobia through the acceptance and support of my friends, but I still struggle with it sometimes. This book showed me that there are other LGBTQ+ Christians out there who have been able to accept that they can follow God and still love who they love. I hope to one day be able to reach the same self-acceptance as the author was able to.
The storyline of this story was really good. This novel discussed some real political issues that America is facing today. This story did not however touch on the powers of the comic character. Both Jessica Cruz and John Stewert are Green Lantern in the comic, but neither of them show any powers that are associated with Green Lantern.
I don't really know what to rate this book. The story seemed so complex and was covered in so few pages. It's hard to rate a book when you're not even sure you understood it.
As a stand alone graphic novel this was good, but it doesn't work for the DCU. This story doesn't fit into the continuity of DC at all and it leaves out some of the characters who play a big role in Dick's life.
I was disappointed with this. The concept of a young Bruce, Selina, and Jack is good, but this book didn't do it. I don't feel like it did justice to the characters. While they did okay portraying Alfred I feel like making him Bruce's uncle damages his role in Bruce becoming Batman. It mentiond Dick Grayson in the begining of the book, and he shouldn't have been born yet. The same thing goes for Barbra. I am a die hard Batman fan, and was very disappointed.
I loved this series. I was dissapointed when I finished reading this book not because it ended badly. It was a great ending for the series, but I wish ther ewould have been more information and characterization for the ghosts. They were my favorite characters, and I feel like in some ways they were overlooked.
This book was amazing. It was an impulse read, but I am so glad I read it. I never would have seen the ending coming.
Really great graphic novel. I loved the portrayal of Cassandra Cain as well as Barbra Gordon.
There are not enough words to describe this book. Marissa Meyer outdid herself with this book. This book will leave you wanting so much more, but at the same time it was an amazing ending to an amazing book.
This book was darker than I expected. I won't go in to detail on that, but pretty much name a problem and one of the characters in this book has that problem. This book gives warnings about eating disorders, sexual abuse, and ptsd, and that is only some of the problems that characters in this book deal with. This book does a really good job creating realistic characters. No one in this book has a perfect life, and that makes the characters seem so much more real compared to a lot of other books. I loved the way the author wrote these characters. They were all so realistic and relatable.
I loved the fact that we got to learn about one of the most mysterious avatars in the series. She had such an amazing story. I can't wait for the next book
This was a really good version of Harley's origin story. I loved the way it told how she got her hammer and why she uses the accent. I think it did really good showing how the relationship between Harley and Joker's relationship developed.
