This would have helped if my parents had read it 50 years ago or if I had read it twenty years ago.

130+ years after being published, this gets so much right, and so much wrong.

I agree that this reads like a mashup of Ready Player One and Silence of the Lambs.

Staying up late to finish a book is always a sign that I have enjoyed the story.
