This book is not only a perfect description of a society dominated by parvenues, pride, moral corruption and reputation, but also a deep reflection on human nature, man's relationship with god and fate and providence.

I found it very relatable, Dostoevskij reflects on the themes of love and dream, the ending was very sad, but i wouldn't blame Nasten'ka. The setting is exceptionally fascinating and perfect for The story.
