Love the colorful images and the general idea and that's why it's a 4 stars, however the dialogues were very confusing and after reading some reviews here probably it's not fault of the translation...
Awww they are both so lovely and frustrating at the same time. I missed this kind of mangas
An easy and quick read, an interesting start of the story and at the same time it leaves you the possibility to stop reading at the end of the 1st book quite as if it is a standalone.
This will be my last review for 2017 _ such a lovely volume. The drawings are so delicate and elegant and the story isn't overdramatic. Can't wait for the next one to come out in Italy
A simple and cute high school love story. Nothing too special but all of the hedgehogs' illustrations are adorable and both of the main protagonists are likable from the very start for a change
3.75 out of 5
This book was absolutely an unexpected journey. I struggle in finding a specific genre for it and it left me wondering for a long time about some of its elements. Readers who enjoy both old gothic mysteries and very low-key historical fiction will probably appreciate this lovely and not very long story.
Love the drawings and the story is getting interesting, but I hate the way the protagonist is being treated
La poesia delle piccole cose. L'audacia di unire poetico e quotidiano senza vergogna e con l'abilità di un cantore. Questo libricino mi resterà nel cuore.
A sweet, sad and beautiful fairytale. I have not watched the anime yet, but I will shortly do so because the manga adaptation was absolutely adorable
Second read for Booktubathon 2018 done! The main characters are just so cute and lovely in this one ^_^
I have not watched the anime yet so it's my first time discovering this story and it seems very captivating as a premise. I hope it will continue with this mix of humor, acrion and drama
3.25 stars. It took me almost a year to finish this book and I kept falling in and out of love with it. At this point I keep reading this story just for the love of Anne Rice's writing style and not for the story itself that leaves me more than unsatisfied.
The more the story continues the more difficult it gets to understand what direction the author envisions for the characters and the general plot.
3.5 stars
First book for Booktube-a-thon 2018 done! Nice read, lovely and simple, without many plot twists
I have to admit it.. The ending left me a bit confused. I hoped for something more, but still it was an entertaining series to read!
3.75 stars
Until almost the very end of the book it felt as a book created only for the purpose of being a prequel with no depth of the main characters. However it was still interesting and now I will read “Practical Magic” as soon as possible.
3.25 stars
It wasn't exactly the ending I was hoping for...There were too many elements in certain parts and others were rushed too much.
It's a fantasy YA in its purest “first decade of 2000” style with all of the consequent pros and cons
3.5 stars. It took me an eternity to finish this book, but it was worth it. It's raw, unpleasant, sarcastic, unapologetic, rude and absolutely not politically correct. At some points, I didn't want to pick up the book for weeks, however at the end for me, it was worth it.
I understood a bit more about Iceland and how it changed in the last century, I followed the perilous life of an imaginary old woman and got lost in some deep thoughts every now and then. This book is not and will never be everybody's cup of tea, but it is worth trying.
4.75, but I decided to give it a 5 stars rating because it's such a unique and important read. Loved it! Just hoped for a different kind of closure, but that's a minor thing. Recommend to all kind of (adult or ya) readers.
Illustrations 5/5
Story 3/5
The book is a wonderful visual work of art, however, I was expecting so much more from the story.
4th read for Booktube-a-thon 2018!
My very first time completing a whole shakespearian play and I liked it very much. I wish there was more about each and every character's background, but of course being it a play it was impossible. I really disliked the way Oberon treated Titania, but except for that it was a lovely read!
3.25 stars
A book with only unlikable characters is always something good to read once in a while. I hoped to see a little bit more of India, but the story was focused on the journey more than on the visited country.
Ironic, critical about society and deeply true in some bits. Quite a quick read, perfect for a travel.
