Nile

A short quick read. It was different being in each persons POV. But it wasn't actually. It was still third person just different stories. It was kind of a pointless holiday special. Cute I guess but nothing exciting happened. I wish we got some more passion or smut even in this one.

I shouldn't have liked this book so much but I did. The first in the series felt very juvenile. Young adult fiction. I liked it tho it made me giggle like a teen. But this second book got a lot more intense. So many adventures I wasn't expecting. I loved how the family develops. And that bonds are being built from the first book. I really enjoyed this and read it so quickly. I love the passion between Xaden and Violet even if a little misguided and toxic. They're both just trying to heal and save the world I get it. I can't wait to get a hold of onyx storm

This book was LONG. It was confusing. It was messy. Every few pages we get introduced to a new name, city, isle, or creature. The names kept getting caught up - who IS THAT? why does this person have a vendetta right now? oh they were briefly mentioned on page 67 that Violet's mother had tripped them in daycare?

This book could have been shortened and ended the series as intended. I don't think the plot was very exciting, it was quite predictable. It was not even that exciting. Honestly it was a bit more funny for a darker installment of the series i think I enjoyed the quips coming from all sides of Iron Squad. But not many new emotional developments in any character. Even if we get to see into some of the other friend's POV near the end.

I enjoyed it sure - but dont wanna wait for 2 more dragged out books

Got the audio book and loved hearing Bob read; he's always been sooo captivating and animated. It came thru in his writing which I enjoyed. Im only 1/4 through and am still a little confused. I like that his protaganist is just chillin with Harriet Tubman and some other folks who i dont seem to know. Getting to hear Bob sing and give us renditions of Her music is so cute
