I really liked this series. I thought it wrapped up nicely. Can't wait to read the other books in this world.

Great recommendation from my book club. Enjoyed the story, the setting and steampunk tie in. Alexia is wonderful character, and I look forward to more of her exploits.

I liked the book, but it has flaws. Too much easy foreshadowing, shades of bad writing and too much silly in lusting. I loved the dragons, the dialogue with the dragons and thought Vi was great character. I think this comes down to to what you might enjoy escaping with. I do believe I am enjoying the discussion/review around the book more than the book itself. I will read the next book when it comes out and hopeful the world and characters expand. Maybe some dragon POV.

I'd have given this is 3.5 if I could have.

Great ending to a fun series. I wish for more Fin and Annika time together in the same scenes and even their every day life. Rush a bit at the end. I am also on board for a Kraken book.

I listened to the audio book and I think I would have preferred this as a read. It was around 15 hours and I spent too much time on the book. It was an okay book that offers a decent story of adventure and intrigue. I felt it lacked the depth and complexity that truly sets a story apart. I wasn't invested in any of characters and they are somewhat two-dimensional and predictable. This is where I really want a half star for 2.5 as I probably would have bumped it up that extra half.

Does Jill not go to school anymore? I also thought of something else that bothered me. Jill is writing checks to pay her bills. She is in her 30's, why is she not paying online. I mean really. I know it is something little but it annoyed me.

Enjoyable, but I kinda wanted to hear what Jill's net worth is.

Some very interesting stories in nice small units.

I'd like a map of the town.

Jill sure has a desire to sleuth, but the Amy storyline was silly.

Not sure a Tea Shop is needed in this small town but ok. Also not sure why Jill believed the sisters almost instantly. More Emma and Esmeralda.

What is not to adore about this book and characters?!! A must read for fantasy cozy, there I said it! Also, I will never think about the appendix the same. I like the world created, though not sure we can do the enemy to lovers bit again, but would like to see the world visited again. I'd also like Mercy to see me off into the next world...Books and reading can be strange connections, my dog Gracie went over the rainbow last week, and Hart's dog was Gracie, so it caught in my throat when I read about her.

Sophie found her love, her found family and her magical matchmaking abilities. Thankfully in this case she lost her nasty family. I'd like see a book with Yanmei and her clients. This was listed a fantasy cozy, but it is probably closer to a romance, still it was a fun read.
