I thought it was interesting how the story shifted to Prim's POV. I do enjoy this world.

I enjoyed the book but think I put too much hope that this would be The Thin man. It has many similar elements but I hyped it too much in my head. I hope there will be more.

Very enjoyable but it occurred to me that I must have seen a movie on this at some point. Still an enjoyable read.

I like the tech and the world-building, my attention waned in the middle but it got better as it wrapped up.

Sophie found her love, her found family and her magical matchmaking abilities. Thankfully in this case she lost her nasty family. I'd like see a book with Yanmei and her clients. This was listed a fantasy cozy, but it is probably closer to a romance, still it was a fun read.
