Far too much emphasis and focus on NYC restaurants. Personally felt a couple of the restaurants listed did not have as big of an impact on American dining that the author claims. Chapters are a bit long and the author's writing style is too dry for my liking.

Very surface-level information, but good starting point for someone just getting into coffee. Not enough value for rereads.
Artwork is nice and lighthearted. The hardcover feels nice in your hands and is small enough to toss in a bag for a quick read.
