Sooo
I was almost put off by the excessive use of expletives used, but I'm glad I stuck it out. I'm not really into romance because of all the sexual scenes either, but again, glad I stuck it out.
I love the friendships in this story, on both sides, the men and women. I would love more stories showing these friendships.
And can we talk about these men?! These men were very well written, and not in a fantastical and unbelievable way either. I enjoyed reading this book, and I appreciated the journey the main character had to grow through for her healing.
This was so cute and so expressive. Guess I still like YA too, thought I was over it, but this was good. I also want to mention that this is a clean story. No profanity, very G rated. ✅️
I'm a full blown adult, and I really enjoyed this story. It was really well done, and like the main character, I didn't want it to end.
It took me a long time to read this book because the beginning was just so boring and really seemed to drag on and on. I had actually stopped reading it to the point where I didn't think I would ever pick it up and finish it. But, closer to the middle, it started getting interesting enough to where I wanted to finish it. I'm glad I did. It was pretty good and the end I wasn't really expecting. Currently waiting on the next installment.
I didn't like this book too much, I appreciate that it's based on a real city and history though. There was too much profanity for my tastes. I get that she was trying to paint the picture and show just how bad it was but I just felt it was unnecessary. It wasn't horrible or anything, don't get me wrong, I just wasn't that into this.
I rate this one a 4.5.
I liked it, I really did, but not as much as the other two. I didn't connect as much with this story like I did with the others. I still like this book a lot though.
I liked this. It was cute, but left a little to be desired. This story was lacking depth and details. But I still enjoyed it.
So many unanswered questions. I hope they'll be answered in Dorothy Must Die. I really enjoyed it though.
I loved it
That ending though..
I suppose there was no other way.
I'm really liking how Marissa Meyer writes. I read glitches first, and now this one. Now to start Cinder. I'm loving the series so far.
I'll just start off by saying, I didn't want to read this. Anything with a lot of hype surrounding it, I usually stay away from. But..
I loved reading this.
I loved the language in this.
I love the characters.
I loved laughing throughout.
I honestly didn't expect to like it as much as I did and I'm happy I decided to read it.
Wow, just wow.
I don't know what I was expecting, but this book was really really good. I liked the mystery, adventure, metaphors, philosophies, poetry, it was all just very well put together to me. This is the second book I've read by John Green, the first being TFIOS. I look forward to reading more from him.
Did it have to end that way?!
I'm frustrated. Don't even know if I want to read the last book in the series.
Freaking loved this book from beginning to end, couldn't put it down. Excited to read the rest.
